kaizer chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has welcomed his assistant Cedric Kaze to the club.
This comes after the Tunisian lost his initial right-hand man Fernando Da Cruz left to join the Moroccan FA. Nabi has now reunited with the Burundian Cedric Kaze who he enjoyed a good working relationship during their days at Young Africans in Tanzania.
“This is my brother. Cedric Kaze is my second assistant; we worked together at Young Africans,” Nasreddine Nabi told the media.
“We won too many trophies with Young Africans. Very good moments and sometimes bad moments. He is a good guy with a big experience and too many skills.

“I thank Mr Kaizer [Motaung] Jr and Mr Bobby [Motaung] for giving me the opportunity for Kaze to come. I am very happy. He is a very good guy, a gentleman, and a very good coach. I am very happy about that,” Nabi concluded.
Nasreddine Nabi and Kaze enjoyed success at Yanga winning back-to-back titles in the Tanzanian league. The two are now working together at Kaizer Chiefs looking to bring the club back to its glory years.
Amakhosi have enjoyed a good start to the season, winning three of their first matches. Their only defeat came at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns last month but the team’s fortunes have turned since Nasreddine Nabi took over.
This past weekend, Chiefs cruised past SuperSport United 4-0 in the Carling Knockout Cup. The two teams meet again this weekend in a Betway Premiership clash.
