Number 20 for Thabo Mokoena?
Thabo Mokoena is a young central defender on the books of Amakhosi. Born in Roodepoort in 2000, he’s yet to make his first-team debut for the club. With Rushwin Dortley, Inacio Miguel, Given Msimango and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe ahead of him in the pecking order, game time in 2024-2025 is therefore highly unlikely. It’s therefore curious that he’d be assigned the number 20.
When did Amakhosi last win a trophy?
Amakhosi’s last league crown and taste of silverware came in 2015 under Stuart Baxter. They’ll be expected to climb the table under new boss Nasreddine Nabi after a disappointing tenth-place finish last term. A deep run in the Nedbank Cup will also be demanded by supporters.

Which is your favourite Amakhosi player in the current squad?
Kaizer Chiefs finished the 2023-2024 league campaign in tenth position, their worst placing in the history of the DStv Premiership. Their last league title came back in 2015, also their most recent piece of major silverware.
