Kaizer Chiefs coach gets spending money for January

Kaizer Chiefs Nabi

kaizer chiefs will be a busy club in the upcoming January transfer window, coach Nasreddine Nabi has thanked the club for an allocated budget.

KAIZER CHIEFS TO SIGN PLAYERS IN JANUARY

Speaking to the media after Saturday’s 2-1 loss against Mamelodi Sundowns, coach Nabi said he has three months to find new signings in the January transfer window.

“I think my striker [Chivaviro] scored today and in the previous game, it’s okay but I want the level that is more higher,” Nabi said via FARPost.

“Honestly the market in Africa is very short, there’s four or five good players but big clubs like Esperance, Al Ahly, and Zamelek have already started the work [with their quality players].

“The market in Africa is not positive at the moment. For myself, I think now in October we don’t play, we only have November and December, and then the window opens in January.

“I have three months to seriously scout for quality players and players I want. I thank the club committee for giving me the budget,” the Kaizer Chiefs tactician concluded.

KAIZER CHIEFS LOSE FERNANDO DA CRUZ

It was not ideal for Kaizer Chiefs to lose a key assistant coach in August, but that’s football. Is Nasreddine Nabi replacing his departed assistant Fernando Da Cruz. The newest report has revealed a leading replacement.

As reported by Unplayable, Da Cruz has left Amakhosi to join the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) as a Technical Director. The Frenchman left Nasredddine Nabi’s Kaizer Chiefs technical team just two months after his arrival in Johannesburg.

“Fernando Da Cruz has left Kaizer Chiefs to join the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the OCP Group, as confirmed by @MoroccanGrinta. “It’s a new Moroccan project, focusing on developing young players,” the report said.

Meanwhile, Nabi has confirmed the news while also revealing whether Kaizer Chiefs will seek a replacement or not.

“Why not? It’s possible, it’s possible,” said Nabi via FARPost.

“It’s possible because I have too much job. Now, I have only one assistant who has specific work.

CEDRIC KAZE COMING TO KAIZER CHIEFS?

According to Unplayable, Nabi’s former assistant coach at Young Africans, Kaze, is the leading candidate to replace Da Cruz.

“Burundian coach Cedric Kaze is the frontrunner to replace Fernando Da Cruz at Kaizer Chiefs. Kaze previously worked with Nasraddine Nabi at Young Africans,” Tiyani Mabasa reported.
